They had a vision. Wanting to boost the company’s sales quote generation process by streamlining and modernizing it.

During this time, the sales team was generating quotes through homebrewed Excel spreadsheet templates. While this process allowed for great flexibility, it was soon realized that the method lacked efficiency, collaboration, and consistent workflows.

The company was using JourneyApps at the time but needed additional help to make their vision of a new and improved sales quote generation process become a reality.

Project Details

Recognizing TEAM IM as a trusted development partner to JourneyApps, our customer engaged us to help design and deliver a powerful ECVI Sales Quoting Tool. With a strong reputation for building scalable, high-impact solutions and as a key technical anchor within JourneyApps’ customer solutions ecosystem, TEAM IM was brought in to lead the initiative from concept through delivery.

At the outset, we worked closely with stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of their existing sales processes, including common workflows and edge cases. Once the full landscape was defined, we collaborated to design a JourneyApps-based solution tailored to their operational needs. Using an agile approach, TEAM IM delivered development in weekly, usable sprints enabling real-time feedback and iterative refinement. This continuous collaboration allowed enhancements to be made during development, significantly shortening the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycle and accelerating time to value.

As the project progressed, TEAM IM introduced innovative, out-of-the-box features that proved instrumental to the tool’s overall success. The resulting Sales Quoting Tool provides a structured framework for standard sales patterns while also accommodating exceptions and outliers. It enables deeper review of unusual quotes, supports dynamic approval workflows, and empowers even non-partners to generate quotes within a controlled process environment. By centralizing product and pricing management, the solution streamlines quote creation, distribution, approval, and tracking—resulting in faster turnaround times and improved responsiveness to customer requests.

With the successful launch of Phase One, the partnership continues to evolve. TEAM IM is providing Enhanced Support and collaborating on Phase Two enhancements, including a guided quote creation wizard and expanded data import capabilities to further elevate the user experience. As the organization looks ahead to additional large-scale initiatives under new contracts, TEAM IM remains a strategic technology partner, ready to support ongoing innovation and growth.

The EVCI Sales Quoting Tool has brought greater consistency to the sales process, centralized oversight of critical sales data, and securely enabled external users to participate. Partnering on this initiative has been an outstanding experience, and we’re incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished together.
