Allied is a leading owner, manager, and developer of distinctive urban workspaces in major cities and network-dense urban data centers in Toronto that form Canada’s hub for global connectivity. Allied’s business goal is to provide knowledge-based organizations with distinctive urban environments for creativity and connectivity.
 
Allied is a customer of M-Files, an Intelligent Information Management software integrated with TEAM IM’s eForms (frevvo) forms solution. Allied was looking for a partner that could provide product knowledge, best business practices, and ongoing enhanced support services to assist both M-Files and eForms implementation. They wanted a more efficient and secure way of maintaining information electronically on their properties.
 

Project Details

TEAM IM assisted Allied with a proof of concept and all training on eForms, providing ongoing support in developing additional forms and setting them up for success. TEAM IM brought expert knowledge of M-Files and eForms (frevvo) and delivered the ongoing TEAM IM Enhanced Development Support Allied was looking for as they built out additional eForms functionality.

It’s Time to Enhance Security and Efficiency Electronically

Allied was looking to create a much more efficient and secure way of completing work tasks to maintain their properties. M-Files could provide Allied ease-of-use, document security and sharing, and dynamic views unique to the user’s role. The company sought out TEAM IM for their expertise in M-Files and eForms to set up a proof of concept, developing an eForm that collects information on employee or subcontractor activity whenever they went to a building. This Building Waiver needed to collect basic property information, the name of the employee and purpose (repair, inspection, etc.), entrance and exit time, and a collection of signatures upon completion.

TEAM IM Aided with the Proof of Concept Tasks, Including:

  • Conducting a discovery/functional requirements workshop
  • Reviewing implementation documents
    • Completing Base M-Files/frevvo Cloud Vault setup and configuration as the form’s repository
  • Configuring the Building Waiver and initial setup of other forms
  • Implementing an eForms workflow with a two-step process
  • Providing knowledge transfer for eForms/frevvo and M-Files integration
  • Providing post-implementation support
  • Transitioning to ongoing enhanced support for assistance with additional eForms buildout and M-Files

TEAM IM continues to provide enhanced support to Allied for assistance with configurations, troubleshooting, workflows, and forms development.

TEAM IM’s M-Files and eForms/frevvo knowledge, approach, and best practices allowed Allied to get started with eForms to help automate certain time-consuming data collection processes. TEAM IM continued to assist with both M-Files and form Buildout utilizing TEAM IM’s enhanced support.
