Having already deployed M-Files, Regency sought to select an M-Files Authorized Service Provider (MASP) who could offer best-practice consulting services to ensure their M-Files platform was upgraded, migrated and optimized, delivering the essential capabilities and value the organization required.

TEAM IM Delivered

The core of the engagement with TEAM IM was to migrate and upgrade the Regency M-Files platform, empowering the company with new capabilities to track vital documentation with a heightened level of speed and precision, boosting productivity and reducing errors. The move to an on-premise deployment also handed Regency the tools to increase control and smooth day-to-day business processes.

From the very beginning, TEAM IM led the engagement, ensuring the design and project plan was aligned to Regency’s goals and timeframes. Given the critical nature of Regency content, backups of the Regency Leasing, HR, and other vaults were taken to increase resilience and improve business continuity. The backups also guaranteed the safety of all of Regency’s valuable content during the transfer, putting the company at ease.

Striving to go above and beyond Regency’s expectations, TEAM IM successfully completed the migration from M-Files Cloud, meeting all of the requirements provided. TEAM IM delivered the project on-time and on-budget, with the latest version of M-Files installed and configured on-premise to Regency’s specifications. Regency’s CIO, Dale Johnston, declared the company was “pleased with TEAM IM’s M-Files knowledge and their coordination efforts with M-Files Cloud services to complete the migration to the on-premise environment.”

After a successful migration, Regency entrusted their M-Files platform’s ongoing operations to TEAM IM under an Enhanced Support contract. TEAM IM’s specialists now provide helpdesk, incident management, and support for Regency’s personnel and business clients. Leveraging TEAM IM’s 20+ year experience in supporting content management platforms, allows Regency to focus on its core business, knowing that its M-Files platform is in good hands.

At the conclusion of the successful project, TEAM IM conducted an analysis session where both Regency and TEAM IM took the opportunity to assess performance. They also highlighted areas of development and potential opportunities to add value to the partnership in the future.
