The Background Of National Crop Insurance Services, M-Files and TEAM IM

TEAM IM worked with National Crop Insurance Services to totally revamp their website.  Various levels of access were needed to accommodate different membership levels.  These access levels control access to content for such tasks as searching, viewing and downloading content.

The Problem That Kept Cropping Up

National Crop Insurance Services knew that Member companies needed to have secure self-service access for end users. Thus, it was critical that the completion and roll-out of the new Portal Website provided online, protected self-service access to content.

But, National Crop Insurance Services didn’t have a secure way to store organization-related content records. These records included Microsoft office documents, videos, and other files for self-service access. So, they called on TEAM IM for help.

What Happened When TEAM IM Stepped In

In 2022, with TEAM IM’s assistance, the new National Crop Insurance Services Portal Website made its debut with tremendous success. Today, TEAM IM continues to be a source of ongoing Enhanced Support for a variety of items. Such items include the integration of a three-way communication between the NCIS Portal Website managed via Sitefinity, M-Files, and Identity Manager for Identity Management. TEAM IM provides additional M-Files licenses and configuration support as well.

TEAM IM continues to provide Enhanced Support (via an Enhanced Support Agreement) to provide support for M-Files and  for configuration changes as required. This agreement ensures that TEAM IM will provide M-Files integration and configuration expertise for the project.

"As one of the largest U.S. public utility providers, the need was paramount to upgrade SCLs manual paper-based document intake process, to a state-of-the-art electronic method with the ability to flex and expand with our growing needs.

This challenge was met using a collaborative effort by the team and engaging key stakeholders from multiple departments. Understand the gaps in the current process and future needs allowed for a comprehensive electronic solution to be developed.

As a result of our efforts, user adoption has quickly skyrocketed after launch to above 60%. This new tool brings transparency to a process that was previous viewed as a blackhole. Countless user work hours will be gained using this tool and will create a significant savings and process efficiencies improvements."
