Unlocking Potential: Customizing M-Files with Vault Applications

M-Files facilitates the implementation of custom logic through what are referred to as vault applications. These vault applications are developed in C# and employ the Vault Application Framework to seamlessly access the M-Files API. Vault applications can be utilized for a range of purposes, including integrations and custom logic tailored to specific customer requirements. Recently, we developed an M-Files integration for a human resources platform.

The integration allows the automatic generation of a candidate profile within the HR platform each time a new candidate is added to M-Files. In addition, all comments associated with the candidate are seamlessly transferred to the HR platform. This integration also includes a direct link to the corresponding object in M-Files. This ensures comprehensive and synchronized data management across platforms. Such capabilities highlight the efficiency and connectivity provided by the integration.
