M-Files for Microsoft Teams, the new 'Grocery Getter'

I occasionally moonlight as an adjunct professor for a local university. My students generally work on a business degree or leveling coursework to begin their MBA. My favorite discussion topic goes something like this...

My grandfather was around for the advent and acceleration of the internal combustion engine, which - in my mind - vastly changed the functions of society. He recalls trips to the grocery store via horse and buggy rather than the modern-day' grocery getter.' What monumental changes have you experienced that have had a profound societal impact?

"The internet" is always a high-ranking opinion, as is "cell phones" and, of course, "social media." The events at the turn of the decade also rank at the top of the list. Society encountered yet another monumental shift in how business had and now continues to work. We all had to go home, get online, and remotely connect with our colleagues.

TEAM IM has continuously operated with a remote workforce. While this wasn't a monumental shift for our organization, we have certainly seen advancement in technology better to enable our remote staff and that of our clients.

Outlook and our beloved email already had a place in our lives, as did Webex, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams. Could you have imagined that Teams now serves wholly in the place of "Conference Room B" and tools like M-Files have entirely replaced our cherished file rooms?

Our partners at M-Files are making this marriage more seamless with their latest Teams integration.
